World record is not enough for a ticket to Paris for the Olympics

“I definitely felt it. I thought I was going to die and I didn’t know I was going that fast,” Walsh said.

Tough competition for the Olympics

To qualify as one of the two first-place finishers over this distance for the Games next month in Paris To qualify, the swimmer from the University of Virginia still has to strong competition out of the way.

In the final on Monday night, Torri Huske, Regan Smith and Claire Curzan are all waiting Medalists from Tokyo 2020.
