Ronaldinho announces a boycott of supporting the Brazilian national team

Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho announced his boycott of supporting his country’s national team during the South American Cup tournament, “Copa America”, which begins on June 21.

Ronaldinho wrote on his Instagram account attacking the Brazilian national team, which was no longer able to follow its matches due to its poor performance.

He said: “This may be one of the worst teams in recent years. It does not have respectable leaders, and most of them are mediocre players.”

Ronaldinho added: “I have followed football since my childhood, before I even thought about playing it, and I have never seen a situation this bad: not loving the shirt, losing passion, and most importantly, not loving football.”

Commenting on the Brazilian team’s friendly draw with the United States, he stressed, “The performance was one of the worst things I have ever seen.” That is why I declare my surrender. “I will not watch any match in the Copa America, and I will not celebrate if Brazil wins.”
