The Ukraine goalkeeper apologizes to everyone for his mistakes against the Romanian national team

Andriy Lunin, goalkeeper of the Ukrainian national team, apologized to his teammates and fans for his poor performance against the Romanian national team in the European Championship, Euro 2024, which is hosted by Germany.

Lunin conceded 3 goals. He talked about them after the defeat by Romania in his country’s opening match, saying: “I want to apologize to all of you. The first goal was my mistake, and it all started with it. “It was just a technical error.”

He added: “In the second goal, I did not see the shot or the movement of the ball. Receiving such goals is incomprehensible. I want to apologize again.”

Andrei Lunin continued: “I hope we can change the situation. We have no other choice. We need to recover quickly and move on to the next match and do everything we can to move forward. We will prepare for the second match. We need points.”

It is noteworthy that Andriy Lunin enjoyed a good season with the Real Madrid team, which made his mistakes against Romania a topic of conversation among the public, while Ukraine plays its next match in the European Championship, on Friday, June 21, against the Slovakian national team.
