Turkey is worried about its young star Arda Güler ahead of the top match at the European Football Championship in Group F against Portugal. According to the news agency AP, Turkey’s coach Vincenzo Montella said that the 19-year-old Real Madrid professional was not 100 percent physically fit and would be examined before the match in Dortmund.
Montella did not provide any further details before the duel with the Portuguese on Saturday (6 p.m./ZDF and MagentaTV).
Güler scored a dream goal in Turkey’s 3-1 opening win against Georgia, becoming the youngest goalscorer in a European Championship debut.
