The Emirati champion and star of the Abu Dhabi team, Rashid Al Mulla, is preparing to defend his lead in the general standings of the World Jet Ski Championship, which begins Thursday and continues until next Sunday in the city of Olbia on the island of Sardinia in Italy, and witnesses a large participation of the most important and prominent international stars in the various categories of the tournament.

Rashid Al-Mulla is participating in the stunt category, which is one of the most important and prominent stations in the world championship. Rashid Al-Mulla started his season in this championship by achieving first place and the title of the first round, which was held in Vietnam last March, and he topped the overall standings with 47 points, and aspires to Consolidating this lead through the current round and continuing to do so in order to make his way strongly towards winning the sixth title in his sporting career, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.

Al Mulla won the championship title for five consecutive years, starting from the 2018 season until 2022, to become the first Emirati champion to achieve the title five times in the competition. The year 2022 witnessed him achieving the full mark by scoring 100 points through an achievement rarely repeated in the championship, and he came second in the 2023 season in the overall standings. After a strong and fierce competition with Italian Roberto Mariani, who won the championship title last season, and despite both being equal in points with 94 points each, the title went to Mariani.

The tournament begins in Olbia with the participation of 4 categories at the world championship level. The beginning will be with official registration on the first day, then free trials that begin on Friday, then the first stage of the championship on Saturday, then the second and final stage next Sunday.

The numbers from the initial registration for the competition indicate that the number of participants in the championship categories across the current round may exceed more than 70 bikes, which increases the intensity of competition and excitement in the challenge that Olbia is witnessing for four consecutive days.
