Family situation forces Foden to leave England camp.. What is it?

The English Football Association said in a brief statement today, Wednesday, that Phil Foden, the first team midfielder, left the camp of the team participating in the 2024 European Championship to deal with an emergency family situation.

Foden started all three of England’s matches, as they topped Group C and reached the round of sixteen.

Her opponent in next Sunday’s match in the first knockout stages will be determined later today.

The Daily Mail reported that the reason Foden, the best player in the English Premier League, left the national team camp was to be with his pregnant girlfriend for the birth of his third child – but he hopes to return for the round of 16 match, and expected that he will return by Sunday when the team plays the next match.

In April, Foden and his girlfriend Rebecca Cooke revealed they were expecting their third child together. At the time, Foden, 23, and his childhood sweetheart, 22, celebrated the baby shower with a lavish party and posted pictures of the event online.

The couple has a son named Ronnie, who is five years old, and a daughter named True, who recently turned one. Foden and Rebecca are said to have met at a party when they were teenagers in Stockport, and she has since been seen supporting him at many of his matches.
