Winning debut for Sinner at Wimbledon

Good start for Jannik Sinner in the tournament of Wimbledon Men’s Singles,the third Grand Slam event of the season, which began today on the grass courts of the All England Club in London. The South Tyrolean, world number 1 and the first Italian ever to start on the British lawns as the first favourite, won against the German Yannick Hanfmann,number 110 in the international ranking, with a score of 6-3 6-4 3-6 6-3.

“It’s great to play as world number one. It’s a special feeling, wonderful, but in every match you start from zero to zero”, was the comment of the Italian, now awaited in the second round of the derby against Matteo Berrettini.
