Fluminense managed to get the Court to create an addendum to the Judicial Recovery of Parana Club so that Tricolor’s debts with Flu do not suffer a discount. In total, Paraná has a debt of around R$800 thousand with the Rio de Janeiro club.

With the ruling by the Court of Justice of Paraná, a subclass of creditors will be created in the Paraná Judicial Recovery, benefiting Fluminense and potentially setting a precedent for other creditors to do the same. Paraná’s legal department is already appealing. The information is from Valor Econômico.

The approval of Paraná’s Judicial Recovery was made last year and Paraná will have to start making payments to creditors on September 1st. To this end, one of the club’s main objectives is the auction of the Kennedy Headquarters.

Paraná is trying to hold the Kennedy auction immediately, but is at risk

The auction or sale of the Kennedy headquarters is seen as essential to paying off part of the debts. The official auctioneer has valued the property at R$68 million, while Paraná is asking for R$88 million.

According to information from Banda B, the Public Prosecutor’s Office requested a new evaluation of the property. The MP also warned about the risk of a sale/auction being held and then being canceled, as the land was donated by the City of Curitiba in 1949.

The future of SAF passes through Kennedy Headquarters

If Kennedy’s situation is not regularized, the chances of a sale of SAF fall drastically for Paraná Clube.

The operation involving the payment of debts with the funds from the auction of the headquarters would allow those interested in the project to invest directly in football, increasing the chances of sporting success which, consequently, in the future, would also bring financial returns.
