19th stage of the Tour de France: Pogacar eats them all

Jonas Vingegaard lacked the pen and paper to write his congratulations, and probably even the strength. But the Dane still found a way to congratulate his rival – and to let the cycling world know that he believes the current Tour de France is decided. When Tadej Pogacar attacked nine kilometers from the end of this monstrous Alpine stage to Isola 2000, Vingegaard made no attempt to follow the man in the yellow jersey. He simply let the Slovenian from the UAE team go and instead clung to the rear wheel of the Belgian Remco Evenepoel to at least secure his second place overall.
