Football has barely returned from the summer break and the video assistant is already in the spotlight again – this time because he is not allowed to intervene in Nuremberg. It is high time to revise the catalogue of laws.
As soon as summer enters its advanced phase, good and evil always clash precariously: It is good that there is plum cake again – and that the football leagues are starting the new season. What is bad is that at the same time as the plum cake, the wasps are coming into the country and attacking the people, and that the video assistant referee, the so-called VAR, is now up to mischief in football again.
