Whindersson Nunes has fight confirmed on Mike Tyson’s card

The fight between Whindersson Nunes and Neeraj Goyat has been confirmed for the boxing event that will see Mike Tyson and Jake Paul face off for the first time.

The event, which is being promoted by Netflix, will take place on November 15th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (USA). The streaming platform will broadcast it live worldwide.

The clash between the Brazilian comedian and Goyat was already confirmed for the first date, which would be June 20. With the postponement, however, there was a possibility that it would no longer happen.

Whindersson and Neeraj appear in the promotional poster released by Netflix itself this Thursday (15), alongside Paul, Tyson and Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor, who will also step into the ring on the same night.

Taking to his Instagram profile, Nunes also shared the confirmation. “See you soon, Neeraj Goyat,” he wrote.

Whindersson Nunes in boxing

This is not the first time that Whindersson Nunes will venture into the world of the noble art. In 2019, the comedian took his first chance in an amateur fight and won on points.

Three years later, the artist returned to the ring to face four-time world champion Popó Freitas in an exhibition fight; despite Whindersson taking a lot of beatings, the result was a draw.

In 2023, the Piauí native participated in ‘High Stakes’, a celebrity tournament promoted by Kingpyn Boxing. Nunes reached the semifinals, but was defeated by King Kenny and ended up being eliminated from the competition.

His professional boxing debut took place in October last year, at the MF & DAZN Series, an international tournament of the sport that brings together influencers and enthusiasts of the noble art. Whindersson faced YouTuber My Mate Nate and lost by referee decision by 3 rounds to 1.
