Johnson signs NFL contract with New York Giants

The NFL career of Stuttgart native Jakob Johnson continues with the New York Giants. Three weeks before the start of the season, a long period of uncertainty is coming to an end for the 29-year-old: Since leaving the Las Vegas Raiders, for whom he played for the past two years, Johnson has been without a team. Now the fullback, who the Giants signed after tight end Tyree Jackson was injured, even has the chance to fulfill a big dream: to play an NFL game in his home country. On November 10, the Giants will play their fourth game of the season in Munich against the Carolina Panthers.
