Liga Forte signs deal with Amazon to broadcast the Brazilian Championship

A Amazon Prime Video is another platform that will broadcast the Brazilian Championship in 2025. The agreement was closed with Live Mode, a company representing Liga Forte União, this Thursday (5), according to a report by UOL Esporte.

Prime Video will broadcast 38 games per season, that is, one per round. According to the report, the contract has not yet been signed, but the values ​​are around R$340 to 350 million.

The Liga Forte União (LFU) brings together clubs such as Atlético-GO, AthleticoBotafogo, Corinthians, Criciuma, Cruzeiro, Cuiabá, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Juventude and Vasco, all currently in Series A.

The LFU has also reached an agreement with Record to broadcast 38 games per year on open TV and with YouTube – both without exclusivity. The group could reach R$700 million in an agreement for the games from 2025 onwards.

Live Mode is also negotiating a package to have games in the pay-per-view model with Globo. Mercado Livre and Dazn are also reportedly negotiating with the company, according to the UOL article.

Libra clubs, another group with Brazilian football clubs, such as Flamengo and Palmeiras, reached an agreement with Globo for broadcasting covering open TV, SporTV and Glopoplay.
