“This title means a lot to me, the last period for me has really not been easy, my team supported me every day, they were close to me”: these were Sinner’s first words after the victory. “I love tennis, I trained a lot for these stages, but beyond the court there is a life and I want to dedicate this title to my aunt”, added the Italian, “because she is not well and I don’t know how much longer she will remain in my life. And it is beautiful to share this moment with her, she was an important person for me. I wish everyone good health, even if it is a wish that cannot be made all the time”.
