French team: Warren Zaire-Emery out against Belgium

The break is likely to be painful for Paris Saint-Germain and Luis Enrique. While he came on as a substitute during the French defeat against Italy on Friday (3-1), Warren Zaire-Emery received a bad blow. It’s official, the PSG midfielder has forfeited the upcoming match of the Blues against Belgium, Monday, September 9.

A blow all the harder since the Parisian Titi did not play more than 30 minutes on the Parc des Princes pitch on Friday. His competitors did not convince in the heart of the game and the second day of the Nations League against the Red Devils would have been a new opportunity for the 18-year-old player to show himself, especially after a Euro during which he was never selected by Didier Deschamps.

Beyond the native of Montreuil (93), other Parisians might not return unscathed from this international break. A scorer against Slovenia, Désiré Doué also came off injured during his match with Gérald Baticle’s Espoirs (1-1). Injured in an ankle against Croatia, Vitinha had to leave the Portuguese group ahead of the game against Scotland.
