AEG, the oven talks to the smartphone and the washer-dryers save energy in a smart way

AEG, a premium brand of Electrolux, presented its innovations at IFA 2024, the world’s largest consumer technology fair, which this year celebrated its 100th edition in Berlin, introducing a series of cutting-edge innovations ranging from kitchen to laundry. The new AEG kitchen appliances line, the largest ever, stands out for the pioneering integration of artificial intelligence into cooking functions. The new generation ovens are equipped with AI TasteAssist, a revolutionary function that makes it easier to prepare new dishes. We often find ourselves looking for recipes online, but we don’t always know how to adapt the instructions to our oven. AI TasteAssist solves this problem: just send the recipe to the oven and the function will analyze it, identifying cooking times, temperatures and types of proteins to automatically set the optimal parameters.

AEG is also committed to sustainability, as demonstrated by the 9000X AbsoluteCare Pro tumble dryer. This model is among the first in the world to achieve Woolmark Green certification, The Woolmark Company’s highest accolade for Merino wool care. The 9000X not only delivers impeccable results thanks to innovative features such as SmartDry and 3DScan, but is also up to 25% more energy efficient, helping to reduce environmental impact. Electrolux has also introduced SmartSave, a new feature available on the 900 series tumble dryers, which gives you the flexibility to prioritise either faster drying times or reduced energy consumption. You can select a faster drying setting to save up to 50 minutes on every load, or opt for low energy settings that reduce energy waste by up to 20% on every cycle.
