PS5 Pro got more powerful graphics and a higher price. Sony: ‘This is our most powerful console in history’

On Tuesday, in a short video presentation, Sony revealed the details of the new PlayStation 5 Pro console and confirmed that it will go on sale on November 7, just before the holidays.

Pre-orders are starting now. from September 26, and the new console will cost 800 euros. The PS5 Pro looks similar to the recently introduced slim version, but has three lines on the sides and lacks the optical drive that can be purchased separately.

Chief engineer Mark Cerny revealed during the presentation that the new console will have a larger and more powerful graphics card, more advanced ray tracing and image upscaling managed by AI. That is, 67 percent more processing units and 28 percent faster memory, which enables 45 percent faster rendering.

– This is the most powerful console we’ve ever made – said Cerny.
