Philips launches a new AI shaver that analyses the thickness of your beard and the power needed to shave it

Philips has launched the shaver Philips Serie 9000which incorporates technology for the first time artificial intelligence with the aim of improving its results, offering a “personalized and more precise” shave, as the company explains in a statement.

The shaver adapts to the needs of each man through its SkinIQ technology which analyses the thickness of your beard, to adapt the intensity and power of the shave. Additionally, its pressure sensor makes the head light up in blue, orange or green, indicating whether insufficient, excessive or correct pressure is being applied.

In addition, through the GroomTribe app, the user can check the shaving data in real time to achieve the most efficient technique. “As if that were not enough, it gives you tips to perfect your shaving technique.”, the company adds, insisting that this smart razor “teaches you how to shave and care for your skin like never before”.

The Philips Series 9000 shaver features fully flexible heads that rotate 360 ​​degrees and features dual SteelPrecision blades, which perform 150,000 cuts per minute. The device is sold with a charging base and can be used both dry and on wet skin.
