“These features and capabilities are now available in the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region after its launch in select markets during the summer,” the company clarified.

However, it must be taken into account that each Disney+ subscription can only have one Extra Access add-on, which can only be accessed by a person who is not in the same household. Additionally, Extra Access will be limited to a single profile and can only be used on one device at a time.

Likewise, users added through this option will have access to the same catalog and functions that are available to the owner from the Disney+ account.

VIEWING CONTENT OUTSIDE THE HOME

The company has also detailed that, when viewing content outside the home, users will be able to continue watching Disney+ on their compatible devices as a member of the household. However, the message will be displayed ‘This TV does not appear to be part of this account’s household’ and, after that, users will be able to indicate that are away from home or update homein case the location needs to be reset.

To continue viewing the content, once one of the two options has been selected, you must enter a one-time access codewhich is sent to the email address associated with the account holder.
