The popular survival gamePalworld” will come to mobile devices by the Korean company Krafton, known mainly for the famous ‘battle royale’ “Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds” (PUBG).

The announcement, published today, states that Krafton has acquired “global rights to the mobile game,” which they assure will be “faithfully reinterpreted and implemented with its main fun elements from the original for the mobile environment.”

Released on January 19, 2024, “Palworld” fell in love with critics and gamers thanks to its curious mix of survival game elements with the mechanics of a Pokémon-style monster catching and collecting game, achieving more than two million concurrent players on Steam.

Since then, and despite a decline in the player population, Palworld has continued to experience success and recently released a version for the PlayStation 5 after being exclusively on Xbox and PC.

However, its similarity to the Nintendo franchise also caused problems, and at the end of September the game’s creators, Pocketpair, They were sued by the Japanese giant and The Pokémon Company for multiple patent violations.
