Microsoft launches one-time payment Office 2024 for Windows and macOS

Microsoft has launched the Office 2024 suite of office applications for Windows and macOS computers, designed for consumers and small businesses that do not prefer subscription-free access to programs such as Word, Excel and OneNote.

Office 2024 is available from this Tuesday under the single payment method and in two versions: one for consumers (Office Hogar 2024), for S/.429.99, and another for small businesses (Office Hogar y Empresas 2024), for S/. 1,099.99, as detailed in its official blog.

Both versions target Windows and macOS computers and require a Microsoft account. YoThey include classic applications from this office suite, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint (and Outlook in Business) that have been updated, although they do not offer the latest features present in the Microsoft 365 subscription.

Office 2024 incorporates a new aesthetic based on Fluent Design, which stands out above all in the user experience in Windows, and adds improved accessibility features.

It also improves interaction with mobile, as it now allows you to use an Android device to insert images directly into Word, Excel and PowerPoint contentand offers the OpenDocument format (ODF) 1.4, among other new features.
