Electronic Arts Inc. and BioWare have announced, through a joint official note, that the official soundtrack of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, was composed by two-time Oscar winner Hans Zimmer (1995 for The Lion King, 2022 for Dune) and Lorne Balfe Grammy winner. Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Bioware’s new single-player fantasy RPG coming to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series on dozens of video game projects throughout their career and have worked closely with the BioWare development team to create a soundtrack that celebrates the world of Thedas and its heroes.
Zimmerone of the most famous composers in the world, has won numerous awards and accolades for his works in films such as Dune, Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception and many more. With over 100 film scores on his resume, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the first one Zimmer composed for a video game in almost 10 years. Speaking about his work on Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Hans Zimmer said: “Epic stories lend themselves to epic scores, and the narrative tapestry that BioWare has woven into The Veilguard has never left me short of inspiration, both in the moments of most brilliant heroism and in the darkest emotional abysses. I’m proud to have shared the journey of creating the background music for the new Dragon Age adventure with Lorne and the entire design team.”

The music from “Dragon Age: The Veilguard” will be released globally, allowing fans around the world to enjoy Zimmer and Balfe’s compositions outside of the game. Starting from October 18th, it will be possible to pre-order the official album, and from November 1st, it will be available for purchase and listening on platforms such as iTunes and Amazon Music.
