The voice chat tool Gemini Live will respond to users in more languages, after including this Thursday support for another five, including Spanish.
Gemini Live is Google’s conversational tool that allows users to talk to the Gemini assistant to facilitate more natural communication. It was announced in August, within the framework of the Made By Google event, and was first launched in English for Android and iOS, within the Gemini Advanced subscription.
In mid-September, Google opened this tool to all Android device users for free; a preview of a larger expansion, driven by new languages.
As of this Thursday, Gemini Live has support for five other languages (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Hindi) on Android, although the technology company hopes that this novelty will reach all users “in a couple of weeks”, as reported in The Verge.
Gemini will also be able to speak with users in more than 40 languages, something that will happen “in the coming weeks,” according to the official blog. . And with support for more languages, Gemini will be able to connect to more Google applications.
