Microsoft has brought his assistant artificial intelligence generative Copilot to the WhatsApp messaging application, where it will offer help to users in a conversational format and a tool for generating images.
WhatsApp is assisted by the Meta AI ‘chatbot’, with which the user can chat to search for information and get useful suggestions. At the moment, it only supports written instructions, but Meta is already working on voice interaction.
This ‘chatbot’ is not the only one that WhatsApp users can use to search for information and other daily tasks, since Microsoft now also allows you to integrate the Copilot experience.
Specifically, Copilot on WhatsApp allows you to have natural conversations about any topic, such as preparing for an interview or a ski trip. It also incorporates an image creation tool, which generates a logo or a meme based on a description.
Gemini, Google’s conversational assistant, will also have an integration with WhatsApp, which will allow you to write messages or make calls in the messaging service application for Android.
