Two classics from the F-Zero series are coming to Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo’s subscription service which, in addition to the multiplayer of Switch games, allows you to download various retro classics onto the console. Nintendo has announced that F-Zero: GP Legend and F-Zero Climax will be available to subscribers of the Nintendo Switch Online + Add-On Pack service starting October 11th. Both titles, originally released for the Game Boy Advance, offer a futuristic, high-speed racing experience.
F-Zero: GP Legend, released in Japan in 2003 and in the West in 2004, allows players to compete in Grand Prix and Story modes, unlocking additional characters and modes. The game is notable for its dangerous tracks and the ability to push opponents off the road. F-Zero Climax, released in 2004 exclusively in Japan, introduces new game modes such as Time Attack and Survival, as well as the ability to create and share custom courses.
