OpenAI launches ChatGPT desktop app for Windows

OpenAI has announced the desktop application of its ChatGPT chatbot for Windows, with which users will be able to chat about files and photographs while waiting for the company to release a final version.

The ChatGPT desktop application for Windows is available this Thursday in a preview version, so that users of the Plus, Enterprise, Team and Edu modalities can try some of its functions, as reported by OpenAI in its X profile (former Twitter).

At the moment, the ChatGPT desktop application allows you to have a conversation around files or photos to get a summary, establish a business plan or generate ideas for a greeting card that can be created with DALL-E.

This app, in preview, is compatible with computers running Windows 10 or later, and can be found in the Microsoft App Store.
