Gigamax Pokémon debut on Pokémon GO

Niantic Inc. has announced, with an official note, the introduction of great news for Pokémon GO fans: the Gigamax function. This new feature will allow players to encounter Gigantamax Pokémon during limited-time events, starting with the debut of Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise in their Gigantamax forms.

These powerful Pokémon will enter the level six Dynamax Battles from 10:00 am on Saturday 26 October to 8:00 pm on Sunday 27 October 2024 (local time). Gigantamax Pokémon will be more difficult to defeat than traditional Dynamax Pokémon, requiring greater collaboration between players. To successfully face Gigantamax Pokémon, you will need to train groups made up of 10 to 40 male and female coachesto encourage cooperation and team strategy, offering a more engaging and challenging gaming experience.

Niantic also announced a collaboration with renowned film composer Ramin Djawadiknown for soundtracks to series such as Game of Thrones e film come Pacific Rim. Djawadi made an epic soundtrack for the trailer which features the arrival of Gigamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO.
