The patterns show, for example, animal figures. Patterns have been found in the area, which can be seen depicting, for example, a cat, a hummingbird and a monkey.

The Nazca lines are located about 400 kilometers south of Lima, the capital of Peru. Images can usually only be seen from the air. The first of them was discovered in 1927.
