Riot Games at Lucca Comics & Games, appointments with LoL and Valorant

The 2024 edition of Lucca Comics & Games, scheduled from 31 October to 3 November, will once again see the presence of Riot Games, which confirms its participation with various activities aimed at fans. The Pala Tagliate will be transformed again into the Riot Stadium, in collaboration with PG Esports, becoming the center of initiatives linked to the production company’s most famous titles. One of the most notable events will be the presence of Martial Andre, Animation Supervisor of Fortiche Productions, known for his work on the “Arcane” series. Andre will be the protagonist of a panel dedicated to the second season of the TV series, released on Netflix on November 9, where he will share the challenges and background of the production with the public. The meeting will be held on October 31st, starting at 4:00 pm, at the Guinigi Chapel.

The competition will have a central role again this year, with the finals of the Tormenta Circuit, dedicated to “League of Legends” and “VALORANT”. The matches will take place at the Euronics stand, at Baluardo Santa Croce, with matches taking place from 31 October to 3 November. The best teams will compete for a place in the Blooming Talents League. In addition to local events, Riot Games will offer the opportunity to watch the “League of Legends” world finals live, the Worlds, which will be held at the O2 Arena in London. On November 2, at 3pm, Riot Stadium will host a Watch Party to broadcast the event in real time. Another eagerly awaited event is the Baolo Championship Series, the Italian “League of Legends” tournament which involves some of the most well-known content creators. The event will be held during the final afternoon of the event and will see Paolo Cannone and Fragola as commentators.

“VALORANT” will also have its space, with the final of the VALORANT Console Amateur Cup, in which the best teams from Italy and Spain will compete. The event will take place on November 1st, starting at 11:00, also at Riot Stadium, with the participation of renowned casters such as Jjack and Pablo. The event dedicated to cosplay will be enriched with the final of the Cosplay Grand Tour by Riot Games, which will be held on November 3rd. The best cosplayers, winners of the stages held in various Italian cities, will compete for the title of best Italian cosplayer, with notable jurors such as MakiEraclea, MissKuruta and Ellie Amber. In addition to the competitive events, there will be a Free to Play area where it will be possible to test the new ARAM mode inspired by “Arcane”, as well as try the console version of “VALORANT”. Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit a temporary store dedicated to the Dolly Noire X League of Legends capsule collection.
