Celonis proposes a customized software design for its clients that favors a positive impact with less effort

Celonis seeks to offer a tailored design of its process technology and software solutions for each client, with the aim of promoting a rapid positive impact on companies and for this to be achieved with less effort, which is what it intends to achieve with its new collaborator. , Cosentino.

The expert company in intelligence and process mining has brought together some 3,000 professionals and specialists from the IT sector in its latest edition Celosphere ’24, held, as every year, in Munich (Germany).

For two days, attendees have had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the experiences of sector managers, as well as experts and analysts, in different information sessions that have been complemented by workshops and demonstrations of their services.

Thus, companies of different sizes and sectors have been present at Celosphere’ 24, such as IBM, Lufthansa, PwC, Harman International, PepsiCo, HCA Healthcare or NXP Semiconductors Netherlands, which have explained how they implement process intelligence and Celonis solutions in their businesses.

Spain has had great weight in the event, to the point that the number of attendees from this country has doubled. “It is very important that people share their experiences of how to approach a different project with the same technology, which becomes the most interesting learning that can occur in this type of events”, has recognized the VP and Country Manager of the company for Iberia and Latin America, Fernando Ranz.

The manager recalled that Celonis Spain is growing “double digits” and that Madrid has a ‘hub’ of more than 500 professionals, with a team made up of professionals of multiple nationalities and disciplines. From the capital they work with all types of clients, including the public sector, with which they work “hand in hand to bring better service to citizens”.

However, there is still a sector that resists it: the hotelier. “I have great hope in it, because it has a lot of weight in Spain, it is one of my big bets,” said Ranz, advancing that they focus on the sectors that are working well in other countries to replicate them in Spain. “This can be a sector that allows us to take the experiences of the Iberian market abroad,” he acknowledged.

COSENTINO LAUNCHES AN AGENT FOR MANAGEMENT TASKS

One of the Spanish firms that has delved into its new collaboration with Celonis is Cosentino, manufacturer of design and architectural surfaces based in Almería, which has implemented an AI assistant powered by the AgentC platform for the management of credit blocks.

This tool studies each blocked order in a matter of seconds and gathers all the relevant data, such as the order value, the customer credit information and KPUs (Key Process Utility).

It then makes a recommendation on what actions to take, how to remove or maintain that block, as well as request evidence that any outstanding invoices have been paid; all with detailed, fact-based reasoning, so that managers can review the decision and validate it.

In this sense, Cosentino’s Global CIO, Rafael Domene, has recognized that the organization seeks “make different use of process mining tools“. This means that they not only use it to identify them, understand them or see how they evolve, but “so that the work teams have operational agents to make decisions in business processes that are key and based on information that, otherwise way, it would be very difficult to achieve.

This is because it is aware that AI is many steps ahead of human capacity, which is why, if a person “does not have the full capacity to perform certain tasks”it is essential to use this technology. “The idea is to choose the tasks that these agents must perform so that they have a greater and better impact on the business,” he stated.

However, Domene recognizes that “the big problem with automating something is that you do not always know what should be automated” and that the key is to invest in technology that is not going to become obsolete in the short term, as well as “building something that , as there is a further progress in the sectorthe company can take advantage of it without having to change anything.

He also believes that the incorporation of this technology and, more specifically, that developed by Celonis, “represents a brutal change”, because in some cases it is not only integrating the necessary tools to execute faster or more efficient tasks, but also “transforming how one works.” in the organization.”

Based on this philosophy, Celonis has found in Cosentino “the agility of a company that favors a mutual impulse”, a “talent” that the two organizations “have understood very well”, in the words of Fernando Ranz, who has insisted that he always does a value test to identify how he can use their services to “have more impact with less effort.”

With this, it seeks to offer “a custom design for each client” after standardizing the SKU (stock keeping unit) codes, since “an insurer’s process is not the same as a distribution company’s or retailer’s process.”

Finally, he recalled that the company’s challenge is to be “the engine” that its clients are looking for, with a source of knowledge that comes “especially at the sectoral and industrial level” from these organizations, with the aim of “continue learning based on joint experiences what we have with them.”
