One of the problems that can occur at an airport is the loss of a suitcase. Without a doubt, it is a big headache, but Apple It has been working on a way to put an end to it thanks to a new function of its tracker.
To date, the AirTag has been used to protect keys, wallets, cars or pets, but now the Cupertino brand works with airlines so that their travelers can recover their suitcase.
This can be distinguished in the beta version of iOS 18.2, notes a report from El Español-Omícrono. There is the Find My function, which allows you to share the location of your AirTag and your data with other people.
What it does, by sharing the location of the AirTag, is that airline employees can locate where the luggage is located. The link even works on non-Apple devices.
But this function has a limit. The location link can only be shared with up to five people. It also has a maximum duration period of one week, when the item has already expired.
This is a trial version, since the use of AirTags must be agreed with the airlines themselves, who are responsible for the location of the luggage.
