Nvidia has announced the official launch of its app, which presents itself as a unified graphics processing unit (GPU) control center and allows you to adjust game and controller settings from a single place, between other options.
This service was presented last February as “the first step” to gather in a single interface three services of the technology company, which are the Control Panel, the GeForce Experience and the applications of the RTX experience.
With it, it is possible to keep computers with Nvidia GPUs updated, optimize their settings and discover and install new ecosystem applications, such as Nvidia Broadcast, among others offered by the company.
Likewise, it has the controles de G-SYNC and adds surround sound options, resolution customization, and multiple monitor settings to the control panel. It also includes an optional login to redeem packs and rewards, among other features.
After the launch of several beta versions of the application this year, the technology company has announced the global availability of the application, a program that replaces GeForce Experience and that can be downloaded through its website.
The company recalled that this platform “is designed to be fast and respond quickly.” So much so that, compared to GeForce Experience, this application installs in half the time, offers a modernized user interface and is 50 percent more responsive, as explained on its blog.
It also includes different configuration functions through subsections such as Nvidia Overlay, which now has the option of 4K video capture, recording function, photo mode, RTX game filters powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and a new Gallery to organize and view videos and screenshots.
Nvidia has also redesigned the drivers, with a unique carousel to access articles related to them and know ‘what’s new’ and ‘what has been requested’, in addition to offering different alternatives in the Settings panel. Among others, manage notifications or change the language of the application.
When you access the Nvidia app, all the latest news and announcements will be displayed on the Home screenwhile the Library of most recently opened games and applications are located at the bottom.
The section is also incorporated into this interface Discover, which highlights other Nvidia applications available, such as GeForce NOW, Nvidia Canvas, Nvidia ICAT, Nvidia FrameView, Nvidia ChatRTX and Nvidia RTX Remix.
