Resident Evil 2 Remake coming to iPhone, iPad and Mac

Capcom has announced the arrival of Resident Evil 2, the famous survival horror remake, on the App Store. Starting December 10th, you will be able to face hordes of zombies on iPhone, iPad and Mac, immersing yourself in the iconic adventure of Leon and Claire. The game will be compatible with all models of iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro and any iPad and Mac equipped with an M1 chip or later. To allow everyone to try the experience, it will be possible to download an initial part of the game for free before proceeding with the complete purchase. Resident Evil 2 will support “Universal Purchase” and cross-progression, allowing you to start your game on iPhone and continue it on iPad or Mac (and vice versa) without losing progress.

The iPhone and iPad versions will include improved controls and a new “Auto Fire” feature, which allows you to automatically shoot enemies after holding them in focus for a short period. Additionally, the game will support a wide range of compatible controllers across all platforms. Resident Evil 2 is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Switch via cloud streaming. With the arrival on iOS and macOS, Capcom makes one of the most beloved chapters of the horror saga even more accessible, allowing an even wider audience to relive the horrors of Raccoon City.
