A Russian software company offered a job to a boy (7): ‘He is a kind of Mozart for me!’

The Russian software company Pro32 has invited a seven-year-old programmer to join its management team as long as he is old enough to take on a paid job, writes the British BBC. Sergej from St. Petersburg has built a name for himself, publishing more and more. at the age of five, videos explaining how to program software.

Based on these recordings, the information security company Pro32 sent him a written offer for the job of head of corporate training. According to Russian laws, Sergej could not take up any paid work until he was 14 years old. However, the executive director of Pro32 Igor Mandik told the BBC that in the meantime he talked with Sergey’s parents about finding a way to cooperate.

His father Kiril was surprised and said that everyone in the family is happy and that they can hardly wait when Sergej can join the company. In the released videos, Sergej goes through the coding challenges step by step in Russian, and sometimes in somewhat poor English.

His YouTube channel has more than 3,500 subscribers, interested in learning Python and Unity programming languages ​​or those who want to learn more about neural networks, which are the basis of many artificial intelligence tools.

Mandik said that Sergej showed outstanding development and unique teaching skills.

– For me, he is a kind of Mozart. I am absolutely sure that when he turns 14, he will be a teaching and development guru. We have to wait seven years, after which we will start talking about his salary – said Mandik for the programmer’s father.
