NASA hires a graduate of the Veracruz Institute of Technology

Veracruz, Veracruz, Veracruz Institute of Technology (ITV) graduate Diana Ruiz was hired by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The director of ITV, Marco Antonio Salgado Cervantes, pointed out that this is a great achievement and is a source of pride for Veracruz and Mexico.

The director pointed out that she is not the first ITV student to achieve international goals, as there are graduates who have joined the postgraduate program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and study houses in Europe and other regions.

Some even return to ITV to strengthen the teaching staff and continue training future generations.

“Other graduates go on to very interesting international training jobs, (…) in France, Germany, Spain, the United States and Canada,” he commented.

Likewise, graduates from schools of this entity have garnered various international recognitions.

The most recent case is that of Ángela Elena Olazarán Laureano, an 18-year-old young woman who graduated from Conalep and originally from Papantla, Veracruz, who received the Global Student Prize 2024, which recognizes her as the best student in the world.
