Revolut announced on Monday that it exceeded half a million users in Croatia, while the number of users worldwide reached 50 million. In 2024, Revolut started to be used by more than 100,000 new users in Croatia.
Revolut points out that 8.5 million transactions are made in Croatia every month, including 2.8 million card payments. About 75% of card payments are made in the country, which suggests that Revolut is increasingly being used as a bank card for every day.
In addition, this year they offered eSIM services to avoid paying high fees for data roaming. Also, the RevPoints program was introduced, the first pan-European loyalty program with a debit card, which rewards users with points for everyday spending. Revolut has also strengthened its security measures with Asset Protection, an additional layer of biometric security that protects users’ savings and investments.
Croats are increasingly using Revolut for investment and asset building opportunities, including low-risk investing in money market funds with Flexible Money Funds and more than 4,500 other financial instruments, such as American and European stocks, corporate and government bonds and ETFs (exchange-traded funds).
Revolut Business is also gaining momentum in the market, and the number of monthly active companies has increased by 64% compared to last year.
