The seventh edition of the “Angi National Award 2024 – Innovation Oscar”, organized by the National Association of Young Innovators and presented at the Offices of the European Parliament in Milan, marked another significant moment of celebration for emerging talents and innovative companies. This event has become an essential event in the panorama of European innovation, underlining the importance of meritocracy and youth talent.
The initiative was strongly supported by important figures such as Federica Masolin, journalist and well-known face of Sky Calcio, who received the Innovation Leader Award, highlighting the importance of innovation in the information sector. During his presentation, Masolin explored new narrative dimensions in sports storytelling, broadening the communicative horizon through innovative techniques.
The conference also saw the participation of eminent personalities from the technological and institutional sector, such as Layla Pavone, expert in digital transformation for the Municipality of Milan, and Maurizio Molinari, Director of the European Parliament Offices in Milan. Each intervention contributed to an enriching discussion on the future trajectory of innovation in Italy.
The appointment with the ANGI 2024 National Award is for next December 4th in an exceptional setting: the Hall of the Temple of Vibia Sabina and Hadrian at the Rome Chamber of Commerce, located in the historic Piazza di Pietra. The event, which will take place from 8.30am to 1.30pm, represents a unique opportunity to celebrate talent, meritocracy and innovation in the Italian panorama, with particular attention to young people and businesses. The event also offered a platform for the launch of the VII “Youth & Innovation” Report, edited by Lab21.01 and Angi Ricerche. The report highlighted critical concerns such as brain drain, highlighting the urgent need for more effective policies to retain talent in Italy.
