The Chat GPT Mystery: This is the mysterious name that the chat will not respond to if you ask about it

Try typing the name David Mayer in the world’s most popular artificial intelligence engine – Chat GPT. You will quickly discover that the chat that knows how to answer us for every question, goes silent and emits an error message when it notices this name. Surfers are raving, and are already running “memes” about the mysterious mystery.

It started like wildfire: over the weekend surfers started spreading the rumor that no matter how they worded their queries, the chatbot avoided mentioning the name “David Mayer”. They tried various creative methods, such as using spaces between the words or indirect wording, but without success.

Even when we tried to ask who David Mayer is, we got an error message: Chapeta wrote “I can’t produce an answer”:

So who is David Meyer? The only known figure with this name is David Mayer de Rothschild, a British traveler and environmentalist, who is known for his travels to remote places and the establishment of the “sculpt the future” foundation that deals with sustainability. Another David Mayer is a musician who plays dance and chill out tracks and has an Instagram page

And what is behind the mysterious silence? The reasons why ChatGPT “filters” the name “David Meyer” are not entirely clear. There are several possible hypotheses: it may be a sensitive character that Open AI wants to protect, or a possibility that the name is related to copyright issues, for example if it belongs to an artist or musician. And it is also possible that it is a technical fault that causes the artificial intelligence to accidentally block certain words.

This case raises interesting questions about the capabilities and limitations of artificial intelligence. On the one hand, this is an impressive achievement: ChatGPT’s ability to identify and filter offensive or illegal content. On the other hand, the case demonstrates the need for constant supervision of artificial intelligence systems, to prevent misuse or discrimination.
