The Israeli start-up companies Revealense and Iverse, which specialize in AI technologies for analyzing human functions and behavior, announce a technological collaboration, which will offer a solution in the field of psychological diagnosis as a screening tool for job candidates.
The Iverse company has developed an AI-based diagnostic psychologist that analyzes tailored interview content of a candidate captured on video, identifies his functional abilities in a large number of indicators such as cognitive abilities, performance skills, interpersonal and framework abilities, and produces a report that includes a recommendation on his suitability for the position.
The Iverse AI system was built and trained on the basis of thousands of diagnostic interviews of candidates with senior occupational psychologists for hundreds of jobs in dozens of the largest companies in the Israeli economy and abroad. The solution is in fact an occupational psychologist with a high level of confidence, which is able to diagnose quickly and with great accuracy the suitability for the position of a number large number of candidates. It is currently used as a diagnostic tool that helps the recruitment moves of companies from all sectors of the economy.
The company Revealense has developed a solution called illuminator that analyzes the behavior of people filmed on video (live or recorded) using artificial intelligence. A dashboard shows the user how a number of neural networks monitor in real time physiological characteristics that change during photography due to involuntary changes in the nervous system such as: changes in skin pigmentation, blood flow and pulse, changes in voice, eye blinking, facial expressions and signs of neural discharge (displacement of facial muscles that pulled about a tenth of a second).
During the analysis of these indicators, the system shows the changes in the emotional and mental state of the person photographed and the exact content that disturbed him and caused him to have a nervous reaction or stress.
On the basis of these parameters, the system produces a kind of mental signature of the photographed person that allows managers and psychologists to make high-quality, accurate and fair decisions about him. The mental signature identifies traits, intentions, anticipation of reactions or evolving mental changes, in different situations, and more.
The integrated solution offers, as mentioned, the abilities of an AI-based diagnostic psychologist as a tool for screening candidates. New abilities have now been added to identify the mental and emotional state of the candidate towards a position. Among other things, it is possible to identify whether what the candidate said in the interview corresponds to what he really feels, which questions arouse in him fear and reservations about the position, which questions and issues arouse in him motivations for the position and a desire to succeed, and more.
Shira Septer, co-founder and CEO of Iverse: “The world of candidate recruitment is changing, and those who understand and embrace the changes will be able to lead in the field. An AI-based occupational diagnostic psychologist shortens lengthy screening processes of weeks to a few hours, cuts the use of resources by 50%, and significantly improves the accuracy of the match.
The final decisions will still be made by the managers and recruitment teams, who will gain deeper insights than ever thanks to the combination of content analysis with behavioral DNA and data-based. With the changes in the labor market, such as the GenAI revolution and the freelance economy, these solutions are essential to prevent costly hiring mistakes and empower the decision-making process.”
Dov Donin, founder and CEO of Revealense: “Our solution also contributes a first-of-its-kind ability to neutralize biases and discrimination against candidates arising from geographic region, religion, language, nationality, race, etc. This ability has already been registered as a patent and is a critical element in ensuring equal opportunities for candidates in companies with diverse populations where biases are common, even if some of them are unintentional.”
“The integrated system actually breaks the boundaries of the field of employee recruitment and can also be used as a decision support tool in the stages of employee development in the workplace. Interviews of employees will locate employees within the company who can be promoted to which positions and types of positions, what type of management is suitable for each employee, and more. All of these capabilities guarantee High chances of success for employees in any position they are appointed to and high chances of retaining employees in the organization for many years.”
Revealense was founded in 2021 by Dov Donin, the company’s CEO, who gathered around him a team of experts in the fields of psychology and neuropsychology, mathematics, AI, computer vision, neural networks, and more. The company, which employs 10 people, operates as a bootstrap without investments from outside investors.
Rebellion is hosted for the needs of cooperation and the promotion of innovative ventures at the Petah Tikva Municipality’s Innovation House, a unique house of its kind that connects the worlds of industry, employment and education. Iverse was founded in 2022 by Zohar Maimon, the owner and chairman of the Filat Group, the leader and veteran in the world of work and recruitment in Israel, Prof. Oded Maimon, one of the first researchers in the field of artificial intelligence in academia, and Shira Septer, the company’s CEO.
