In an exciting outcome that marked the men’s individual E-Football competition of the Bolivarian Games Ayacucho 2024Peruvian Gelvert Daniel Estrada Rua, 24, managed to win the gold medal after defeating Colombian Ángel Felipe García Isaza 2-0.
The day, which lasted 8 hours of intense competition, had a total of 8 rounds, including the semifinals and finals, in which 8 representatives from various countries in the region such as Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Bolivia participated.
It is worth mentioning that the podium was formed as follows: Gelvert Estrada Rua in first place, Garcia Isaza in the second, and Japheth Catuy of Panama in third place.
The final for the bronze medal was also defined with a score identical to that of the grand final: 2-0, in favor of the Panamanian Catuy, who beat the Ecuadorian Jairo Paolo Caicedo Herrera.
