The laptop series Aura Edition represents Lenovo’s adaptation to the era of computers with artificial intelligence (AI), a step taken by Intel to continue leading the market with intelligent functions that personalize and simplify user interactions with their device.
The general director of Lenovo Iberia, Alberto Ruano, recently emphasized – during the Lenovo Tech World Iberia 2024 – the “great opportunity” that AI represents at a business level for the company itself, pointing out that, for the moment, only 35 percent of companies are using this technology, yet AI is expected to generate up to $407 billion in business by 2027 globally.
The PC sector is going to be one of the great beneficiaries of this transition. Intel Core Ultra chips have been chosen to inaugurate a new product category at Lenovo: PCs with AI, designed to improve the experience when working, playing or creating, as it offers Greater performance and durability with low energy consumption thanks to the integration of managed AI on both the CPU and GPU.
To do this, they have AI acceleration capacity distributed between the architectures of the central processing unit (CPU), the Intel Arc graphics processing unit (GPU) and the Intel AI Boost neural processing unit (NPU).
BY 2027, 60% OF COMPUTERS WILL HAVE INTEGRATED AI
Lenovo has collaborated with Intel to promote and lead the market for PCs with AI, which are expected to represent 60 percent of total computer distribution by 2027, as indicated by the company itself.
Its proposal is materialized in the Aura Edition series, which brings together functions to personalize and simplify the user’s interactions with the computer, such as the ‘Smart Mode’, with which the laptop adapts AI performance and capabilities to user activities intuitively.
Also the ‘Smart Share’ mode, which allows you to share images between devices more fluidly, and the ‘Smart Care’ mode, which provides real-time support so that users can receive the help they need.
These features and Intel Core Ultra processors are present in the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition laptop, designed for business environments, with a lightweight and premium design. Also in the convertible for consumption Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, 15 inches and with the option to elevate the experience with a 2.8K OLED screen.
