The first of its kind: the Innovation Authority will establish a national laboratory for biochips in Israel

The Innovation Authority announces this evening (Tuesday) the winning of the partnership between the Aerospace Industry and the company “Bekarmos Technologies” in the tender to establish the first laboratory of its kind in Israel, with a total investment of 113 million NIS.

The laboratory is expected to make Israel a world leader in research into the design and development of smart sensors for medical diagnosis, smart implants that will monitor our medical condition, restore the environment and generate energy from biological sources. This is a strategic and groundbreaking move aimed at placing Israel at the center of global technological activity. The new laboratory will provide eraser and development services to many sectors.
