Bluesky tests a feature that will show trending topics

Bluesky is testing a new functionality with which users will be able to view the topics that are trending on the platform, with labels that show them both in the interface of the Desktop version and in the one for ‘smartphones’.

The company is introducing new features to the social network through different system updates, such as allowing you to reserve the most recent username when changing to your own domain or a new integrated payment system.

Now it has announced the launch of a feature called Trending Topics, which is currently in beta version for some testers and can be accessed by clicking on the search icon, located in the bottom bar of the mobile ‘app’ or in the right sidebar of the Desktop.

This means that, when accessing this section, the different topics that are trending on the social network will be displayed, distinguished in different labels. Bluesky has also specified that it is a function that It can be disabled from the Settings section and that, for the moment, it has only made it available to some users in English.
