Gamestation Go: the new console that Atari will present at CES 2025

Atari has shared a preview of its new Gamestation Go portable console, which will be officially presented at the CES 2025 technology fair and has a design designed to play classic games anywhere, as it integrates both a numeric keypad and a trackball. , in addition to the usual buttons.

The video game company will take advantage of its time at CES 2025, which will be held next week from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas (United States), to unveil its new portable console developed by MyArcade, the specialized technology company. on retro gaming devices.

In this sense, prior to its presentation, Atari has shared some images of the new Gamestation Go, where it has shown some of its main design features, like it includes a numeric keypad below the usual A, B, X, Y buttons, on the right side of the screen.

Likewise, as can be seen in the video shared by the company in a post on this, the crosshead and a ‘trackball’, that is, another ball-shaped ‘joystick’.

With this design, the company integrates the usual buttons of current consoles, with buttons necessary to play more classic games. This is a portable console that will allow players to experience older titles in a modern format.

Atari’s new hardware also includes two USB-C ports for connecting other controllers, as well as an HDMI output, allowing for gaming on larger screens. Following this line, it is equipped with a microSD card input and a headphone input.

As for its software, the company has not shared more details about how the Gamestation Go will be powered, nor has it mentioned information related to its battery or game compatibility. With all this, it is expected to share more information at the official presentation at CES.
