Neo QLED 8K QN990F: Samsung’s most advanced TV powered by Vision AI

Samsung has presented the new Neo QLED 8K QN990F, its most advanced television, which it has reinvented with Vision AI, the artificial intelligence platform with which the company intends to make these devices more intelligent and adaptable.

In this framework, Samsung Vision AI has been presented at the ‘First Look 2025’ event, held within the CES 2025 consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas (United States).

This AI-powered technology understands the environment it is in, adapts to user preferences and offers intuitive options that operate autonomously. This is based on functions that, according to the company, redefine the way in which users interact with their televisions.

An example is ‘Click to Search’, which offers instant information about what appears on the screen without interrupting the viewing experience. Also ‘Live Translate’, which offers subtitle translations in real timeand ‘Generative Wallpaper’, which allows you to create images that adapt to the users’ taste to personalize the screen.

Aside from personalization, Samsung Vision AI positions televisions as central hubs of the SmartThings ecosystem, giving access to real-time updates about the home environment, and automatically adjusting the settings of connected elements in rooms.

Added to this are AI image and sound technologies, which analyze content and environmental factors in real time, dynamically adjusting the image and sound to optimize the experience.

THE NEW NEO QLED 8K QN990F

Samsung Vision AI functionalities have been integrated into the Neo QLED, OLED and QLED models, and is present in Samsung’s “most advanced TV to date”, the Neo QLED 8K QN990F, powered by the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor.
