Samsung and Hyundai’s strategy to bring artificial intelligence from the home to cars

Samsung drives smart mobility with AI and automotive connectivity. At CES 2025, the company presented advances that integrate SmartThings into electric cars, strengthening the driving experience.

Thanks to these innovations, users will be able to easily locate their cars through SmartThings Find, even in crowded parking lots. In addition, AI Home’s artificial intelligence will offer recommendations on the best times to recharge the vehicle, considering rates and energy availability. In the event of a power outage, the system will automatically activate battery backup mode, keeping essential household items running.

On the other hand, Samsung reinforces its presence in the automotive sector through its subsidiary Harman, a company that will soon launch vehicles with the South Korean firm’s seal, focusing on improving the driving experience. During CES, the company presented new products that integrate contextual awareness into the vehicle cabin, combining UX and artificial intelligence technologies.

HARMAN’s new digital avatar acts as an intelligent co-pilot collaborating with solutions such as Ready Care and Ready Vision. These systems anticipate drivers’ needs, allowing them to focus on the road while the assistant manages various functions.

With these innovations, Samsung seeks to redefine the future of connected mobility, fusing home intelligence with the driving experience and opening new possibilities for the automotive ecosystem.
