The companies DOK-ING and Orqa are developing advanced unmanned systems

The companies DOK-ING, a leader in unmanned ground systems technology, and Orqa, a pioneer in the field of unmanned aerial systems, have entered into a cooperation agreement to jointly develop the capabilities of manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) technologies for dual purposes.

Development of technologies for complex environments

The emphasis will be on the development of operational scenarios that use the unique advantages of the integration of manned-unmanned teaming technologies. This will cover a wide range of applications, including reconnaissance, surveillance, logistical support and tactical operations.

Our vision is clear: to create integrated systems that increase situational awareness, accelerate decision-making and protect human lives in the most complex environments. By combining the strengths of unmanned ground and airborne systems, the company will strive to create a cohesive, multi-domain operational environment that increases safety and efficiency for end users, especially in areas that are hazardous to humans.

Improving situational awareness and efficiency

As part of the project, which is financed from the Integrated Territorial Program of the Republic of Croatia, work will be done on the development of advanced communication and interoperable protocols between land and air unmanned systems. This includes real-time data sharing and joint planning of operations that take advantage of the capabilities of all technologies integrated into unmanned systems.

“We are developing the integration of communication technologies, autonomy and immersive interfaces on ground and aerial dual purpose unmanned systems adapted to unstructured terrain and changing conditions. We are focused on investing in research and development in order to innovate and improve the technological achievements, reliability and safety of our unmanned systems. This includes joint testing and experimentation in order to perfect technologies and operational concepts of operations,” said Gordan Peši, a member of the DOK-ING board.
