Samsung presents the Galaxy S25 smartphones, everything is done with AI

Samsung continues to ride the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence by broadening and deepening integration into new Galaxy flagship smartphone series. Today the S25 Ultra, the S25+ and the S25 were presented with which the Korean giant wants to change the way in which users interact with their devices and with the world around them.

The Galaxy AI takes advantage of the exclusive Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with processing directly on the device, improving the photographic sector thanks to the ProVisual Engine. “The Galaxy S25 series opens the door to a true operating system integrated with AI, and a radical change not only in the way we use technology, but in the way we live” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business by Samsung Electronics.

What artificial intelligence does

For Samsung it is the starting point of a vision shared with Google to transform Android into an operating system with AI at its core, open to developers and partners from around the world. S25 interprets text, voice, images and video, to quickly recognize phone numbers, emails and URLs on the screen, allowing you to call, send emails or visit a website with a single touch. Galaxy S25 aims to offer a step forward also in natural language understanding: To intuitively find a specific photo in the Gallery or adjust the screen font size in Settings, just ask it via a voice command.

With a simple press of the side button, Gemini activates to perform cross-app actions, both in Samsung and Google applications and in third-party apps like Spotify. For example, you can find all the games of your favorite sports team’s season and add them to your calendar with a single voice command.
Galaxy S25 allows you to transcribe and summarize calls thanks to artificial intelligence directly on the device, without having to share the content with applications on the cloud.

In the age of AI, personalization goes up hand in hand with privacy. All personalized data is kept private, with the encryption key stored in the Knox Vault. Galaxy S25 also introduces post-quantum encryption, protecting personal data from emerging threats that may increase as quantum computing evolves.

New sensor and new processor

Samsung and Qualcomm Technologies have collaborated to customize the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for Galaxy. The new 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor has been significantly improved over the previous 12MP and 10-bit HDR recording now occurs by default, offering four times richer color gamut than 8-bit.

Every device in the Galaxy S25 series uses at least 50% recycled cobalt for its battery, and Galaxy S25 will be the first Galaxy smartphone to feature batteries made from recycled cobalt sourced from old Galaxy devices or from batteries discarded during their manufacturing process.
