WhatsApp Try the support for multiple accounts on iOS devices

WhatsApp It has begun to prove the support to add and administer multiple accounts in its version for iOS devices, which will allow users to log in to different accounts from the same application, keeping their conversations organized in a simple way, all from the same device.

The instant messaging platform launched this function initially for users with company accounts through WhatsApp Business, so that they could use their account with, for example, their personal telephone number and their account with their work number, from the same way ‘ smartphone ‘.

Also, in August 2023, the social network owned by Meta added this option for more users with Android devices and, now, WhatsApp intends to extend it for users with iOS devices.

To add a new account to the application, once the main account has been configured, users can scan a QR code to link the new account as a complementary profile.

With all this, users can administer their different accounts and have access to all their conversations more quickly and easily, without having several devices or resorting to parallel applications to administer different accounts.

They can also maintain their conversations organized in the same application, but maintaining each chat separately between the different accounts. Likewise, users will also receive different notifications for each account, as will be made independent backups.

However, or the moment, it is a function in beta, so it is only available in test format for some users with iOS devices.
