Age of empires, new content and platforms: finally on PS5

The famous Age of Empires franchise, a point of reference in the panorama of strategic video games, has recently announced important news that further expand its boundaries. The development team expressed great satisfaction for the finish line of 60 million players all over the world, a success that testifies to the longevity and appreciation of which the series enjoys. This result was accompanied by the announcement of the landing of two leading titles on new platforms: Age of Mythology: Retold and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will be available for PlayStation 5. In particular, Age of Mythology: Retold, inclusive of the ‘Expansion Immortal Pillars, will be playable starting from March 4, while the arrival of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is scheduled for spring. As for the new game content, Age of Mythology: Retold will be enriched on March 4 with the Immortal Pillars expansion. The update introduces Chinese pantheon, unpublished maps, new mythological units and game improvements. Players can already preordinate the expansion, included in the Age of Mythology: Retold Premium Edition. Age of Empires IV will also receive new content during 2005, with two DLC coming. Knights of Cross and Rose, available in spring, will allow players to guide historically accurate armies and try their hand at a new solitary game experience. The details on the second DLC, on the other hand, will be communicated in the future.
